SUMMARY OF ROLE

Providing a friendly, client-focused administration, giving clear, timely and practical support to fee earners.

DETAILS

Although administration skills are required previous experience in a similar role is not. Ideally you will be a team player with the ability to work under pressure showing commitment to your colleagues and the Firm in general.

 

Specific Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Communicating with clients and colleagues to ensure exemplary service is delivered
  • Updating client database as required
  • Making appointments and keeping diaries
  • Answering and dealing with queries, both face to face and via the telephone, take messages accurately and pass them on to the relevant person
  • Scanning, photocopying, faxing
  • Raising invoices and liaising with the accounts department on the preparation and payment of invoices and other accounts queries
  • General file management; filing documents and correspondence both electronically and physically
  • Dealing with any administrative tasks required by immediate fee earners

To be successful in this role you will need:

    • Administration skills, well organised and able to multi-task
    • Team player with the ability to organise own workload and adapt/prioritise as necessary
    • PC proficient especially in Microsoft Office
    • Knowledge of employment law in a legal setting would be an advantage
    • Confident, professional, and personable manner

    Job Type:

    Full time – hours of work are 9.00 am to 5.00 pm Monday to Friday and up to one Saturday in 6 with the preceding Wednesday off in lieu of any Saturday worked.

    Own transport is essential as your office location may vary each week.
